ONCHOCERCIASIS CONTROL PROGRAMME
The Onchocerciasis Programme in the year 2011 received 4,500 of Mectizan and 57,000 tablets of Albendazole from NDCP office Abuja.
We also received 2 motorcycles from Helen Keller International. There was no distribution of the drugs as a result of lack of counterpart funding from the State. This year 2015 the project will intensify activities that will enable us distribute our drugs to the 17 LGAs of the State.
